The President & Chief Investment Officer for Cobalt Private Wealth, Dan helps his clients grow, manage and protect their wealth.

Dan has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.

He has served as the Managing Director for Investment Trust Company, Chief Investment Officer for the Wealth Management Group at American National Bank in Denver and Regional Investment Manager for the Greater Colorado Region of the Private Bank at Wells Fargo where he oversaw the management of over $2 Billion. In 2008, he was appointed by the Mayor of Colorado Springs to the City’s Investment Advisory Committee.

He is a member of the CFA Society Colorado and The Financial Planning Association.

Dan holds an MBA in Investment Management from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Florida State University and holds the  North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) Series 65 license.

Dan currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Pikes Peak Hospice, Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of Central Colorado and Board of Directors of the Broadmoor Rotary Club.  He has served as President of the Board of Community Corrections (ComCor), Board Chair of the Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, Colorado Springs World Affairs Council, Board of Directors of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and Board President of Tessa, which supports the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Born and raised in Spain, Dan is fluent in Spanish.

His hobbies include traveling around the world with Montse (his wife of 22 years), Fly Fishing, Golf, and hiking with Curro his Golden Retriever.
